Topper-man the Magician is... Paul Spencer
Paul’s passion for magic and entertaining has been a part of his working life for over 20 years. In that time he has evolved different acts and styles of performance.
His first acts was an Arabian style themed stage act which won The Theo Speaker Cup awarded by The International Brotherhood of Magicians. Paul was lucky enough to win this not once but twice! He joined a group of Medieval Style musicians called The Troubadours and performed this act with them at all sorts of events around the country.
He has been part of the Hatfield House Elizabethan Banquet show performing in the guise of the Elizabethan Style magician Nick Brimstone.
He is one of the Smartie Artie children’s entertainers and now runs the agency.
And of course Paul is Topper-man the magician!
Paul’s TV appearances include a promotional film for the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats. He appeared as Mestopholies the conjuring Cat with Paul Nicholas. He also advised on the magic content for this. He has recently appeared in the BBC 4 program ‘Under the Spotlight’.
Paul has performed for people from all walks of life…from private parties to Company events etc.
